Baskin Shires is a small breeding farm located in Livingston, Texas. The farm is approximately an hour drive from Houston right off of Highway 59. We are uncompromisingly dedicated to the breeding of quality Shire Horses in North America. We pride ourselves in our capability of producing beautifully conformed and well-minded foals who are bred to excel in any discipline. Our horses are raised in a natural setting and are fed only the highest quality diets and are provided with excellent vet and farrier care. They grow up like a horse ought to. With plenty of room to run and tons of loving attention. No wonder our foals are often called big puppies! We love helping people find their perfect Shire match and visitors are always welcome!
