Baskin Shires is located in Livingston, Texas (approximately an hour drive from Houston). The farm was founded in 2003 by the Baskin family, with a mission to increase the population of Shires in the Texas area. We are a small, family operated-farm, dedicated to Shires. We take great pride in our farm as well as our horses. We aim to provide the best care for our Shires, and we do so everyday. We carefully select mare and stallion combinations to produce wonderfully conformed and well-minded foals ready for both the pleasure and competition world. All our foals are raised with love and patience, an important asset that will support them the rest of their lives.
