Baskin Shires

Excalibur has never before been offered for sale. He's now being offered to select homes. He's a proven sire with a very high success rate of settling mares. He's also one of the easiest stallions to manage and great for first time stallion owners. They don't get much better than him. He has sired three foal crops for us and he consistently throws good quality. He also is turned out with the mares and foals 24/7 and is super tough and hardy. At the same time he's gentle, and level-headed enough to stay with the foals. Cal usually ends up mothering the foals more than their own dams. We have two modern Shire mares and he is an excellent cross with them. Adding bone, substance, feather, and temperment on every mare he's covered. People are always stunned by his beauty and size. He's regal in every sense of the word. He throws great, natural, flashy movement to his foals. I could go on and on about him. He really has been wonderful for us. The only reason he is for sale is due to time constraints and we have fillies from him that we're keeping. We're selling quite a bit of our stock. He was trained to drive but we have not driven him ourselves. He was also used some for logging. Here's the chance to own a PROVEN sire! Price and terms are negotiable to select homes.
